2003-2004 Recap:
Finished the season with 37 (11G, 26A) points in eleven games played…scored a hat trick against Colorado on 3/6/04 and had two assists for a total of five points that game.
 

Career: 1998-2005

 

Missed the 2003 season due to a torn ACL in his left knee.  Bergey suffered the injury in a pre-season game against Colorado at the Pepsi Center in Denver on December 6, 2002.  2001-2002:  Finished the season tenth on the Wing’s all-time points list (318), 10th for all-time goals scored (152), and 11th in all-time assists (164) …Finished the regular season with 60 points (30G, 30A) finishing fourth on the Wings roster in total points and fourth in goals scored … Had a career best 12 points (6G, 6A) against Rochester on 2/1/02 and was named MVP of the game…Named the NLL’s Offensive Player of the Week for the week of 1/25/02  … Named Alternate Captain for the 2000-2001 season.    2000-2001:  Scored one goal during the Wings’ NLL Championship win at Toronto on 4/27/02 … Named MVP at Columbus on 4/7/01 for his six point (4G, 2A) performance which included the game-winning overtime goal …Added nine points (4G, 5A) against Rochester on 2/3/01 and was named MVP of the game as well as the NLL’s Player of the Week  … Earned MVP honors for his 11 point (6G, 5A) performance against Rochester on 12/30/00 … 2000:  Scored five points (2G, 3A) and was named game MVP at Albany on 4/2/00 … Recorded eight points (3G, 5A) and was named MVP against Rochester on 1/29/00 … 1999:  Added one assist as a starter for the American Team at the inaugural NLL All-Star Game on 2/20/99 … Scored six points (3G, 3A) including the game-tying and overtime game-winning goals to earn MVP honors against Toronto on 2/27/99 … Named co-MVP with his eight point (3G, 5A) performance against Syracuse on 3/6/99 … Scored 11 points (5G, 6A) and earned MVP honors against Baltimore on 3/13/99  … 1998:  Recorded eight points (3G, 5A) in his rookie season against Buffalo in an MILL semi-final game on 4/18/98 . . .Amateur Career:  Scored five goals in the National Championship game as a freshman at Salisbury State in 1995 … First-Team All-American in 1995, 1996, and 1997 at Salisbury .. Earned high school All-American honors in 1993 at Tatnall High School.
